The group exercise instructor is responsible for leading and instructing the various group exercises classes offered to the users and guests of the facility.
An NCCA accredited certification in group exercise and AED/CPR certification must be obtained within 90 days of hire date. At least 6 months of group exercise teaching experience is preferred. The employee is subject to call back and overtime as required by the hospital.
The member services associate is responsible for ensuring that all users and guest of the facility receive the highest level of customer service using AIDET principles. The member services associate is responsible for setting a welcoming, positive tone for every visit or contact that the member or guest has with the facility. He/she is responsible for making sure that only authorized users and guests are allowed access to the facility. The member services associate is also responsible for point of sale transactions, scheduling member and guest appointments as well as providing accurate information regarding center programs and services for all member and guests of the facility. The employee is subject to call back and overtime as required by the hospital.
The Personal Trainer has the responsibility of developing, implementing, and supervising personalized exercise prescriptions and lifestyle programs with, but not limited to, individuals with different fitness levels, medical concerns, and/ or different age populations in order to maximize the safety of each user and to promote the overall health and wellness and quality of life for the client. He/ she must possess solid coaching and teaching skills and must have the ability to assess an individual's lifestyle habits, medical history, the present level of fitness and goals before designing an exercise prescription for that individual. He/ she must have the ability to work closely with other healthcare professionals such as physicians and physical therapists in order to provide an appropriate exercise prescription. The personal trainer is ultimately responsible for marketing his/ her personal training services and building a clientele base. Responsible for all pool area duties, cleaning, assisting members and assisting with training new employees.
The Massage therapist has the responsibility of providing skilled hands-on massage for scheduled members and guests of the LIFT Wellness Center. The massage therapist's role is to use massage therapy to relax overworked and tired muscles, treat pain that results from any number of ailments, aid in the rehabilitation of athletic injuries and to support overall good health. This may include a variety of techniques including Swedish massage, reflexology, deep-tissue massage, acupressure, and sports massage modalities. The employee is subject to call back and overtime as required by the hospital.
Provides direct leadership, instruction, and motivation for students through effective teaching of swimming lessons while providing a quality experience for students and parents.
